Welcome to the new Stowting website

We are still in the process of developing the website and it is taking a little while because, in between working on the site, we have some real work to do.

We are looking to add a number of features that should make it a worthwhile place to visit, including a section to allow members of the village to comment on the various options that have been mooted for the Peace Room.  The facility will allow members of the village to log in, and add your comments and perhaps even show your support for one or disapproval of another.  It's not a substitute for attending the meetings, but we hope it will get more people involved in the debate.

We want to do an 'About Stowting' section, concentrating particularly on features from John Hammon's book 'Before it's all forgotten', and hopefully persuade John and others to contribute more before he really does forget it all.

You should be able to access the website to check on the agenda for Parish Meetings or Community Council Annual General Meetings, but also everyone in the village will be able to log in, and add their own events and news items.

Keep checking back.  We're working on it, but Henry who has been developing the site in our studio will be leaving us for a while as his wife is expecting a baby any day.  We won't be seeing him until the New Year.
